HOP ON / HOP OFF

The Global Mentorship Program is the first-ever international program where seasoned Spa, Wellness & now Hospitality executives can give their time and share their expertise (Mentors) to guide Spa, Wellness & Hospitality professionals with potential (Mentees).

Start a Mentorship relationship:

  • as Mentor: whenever you are available to guide & inspire
  • as Mentee: whenever you really need to receive guidance in your career path, or to become a better leader with your team.

Ideally a Mentorship relationship lasts between 3 & 6 months, with a minimum of one 60-mn call between Mentor-Mentee.

According to Drew McLellan mentored employees are five times more likely to get promoted, and mentors are six times more likely! He adds that  « when it comes to Millennials, 68% of those with mentors want to stay at their respective companies for more than five years, while only 32% without mentors feel the same way. You want to keep your employees — replacing them can cost 100% to 300% of their salaries. »

FIND THE RIGHT MATCH

Matching is done through a criteria matrix, so the more skills you select & rate, the higher the chances for you to find a suitable Mentor or Mentee.

Registration ends with a link to the Code of Conduct, the Mentor’s Handbook & the Mentee’s Handbook.

CONFIDENTIALITY RULES

The mentorship relationships were guided and bound by a Code of Conduct, agreed to by the Mentor and Mentee, ensuring their interactions were confidential. Mentees are encouraged to send questions or topics to their Mentor prior to each connection, then follow-up with a re-cap after each connection.

With these steps of preparation & follow-up both Mentor and Mentee have a clear picture of what to focus on, what actions to take, and tracks progress made by the Mentee.
